What a beautiful picture. My husband and i were both born in Savannah and grew up there. Three of our 5 children were born in Savannah in the old Telfair Women's Hospital (where I was born) which is no longer operating as a hospital. It is beside Forsyth Park.
Diane,
I obviously haven't been able to find/make much time for blogging lately, but when I received an e-mail letting me know about your comment, I wanted to be sure to respond.
I definitely didn't know that you and your husband were born in Savannah, and it was cool to learn that about you. I hadn't been to Savannah before, but my brother and Lynette had vacationed there a couple times and loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed our time there during their wedding, though I wish it had been even longer! I didn't notice the former hospital, but Forsyth Park was a perfect location for a wedding. The only thing we worried about was the weather, but even though it sprinkled slightly at 11:00 AM, not a drop fell during the 12:00 PM ceremony that Saturday.
Hope all is well with you! Thank you for sharing the comment.
Take care, and have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Hardy
