Oh, I just fell on the tennis court. Nothing that's going to impact my coverage of the 2007 election!
I once rammed my knee into a fence while running down a tennis ball on Hester Park's tennis courts.
I was proud that I hit the ball back to my brother AND that I had hit it in-bounds.
It wasn't as painful as it was bloody.
My worst fear was possibly needing stitches. I'd just seen the movie "Kramer Vs. Kramer," and there's a scene in that movie that advertises against getting stitches.
So, I avoided going to the doctor or the hospital. For a good while, you could see the fence's indention in my knee.
Now, I don't think it even shows.
Am definitely looking forward to your coverage!
